Two of our three best CBs from last season walked out the door, while Keane, Godfrey and Holgate cling on. I’m not sure we can just assume Jarrad hits the ground running and the other three we know we can’t trust so suspect we’ll need to bring one in. Unless we have another freebie up our sleeves it’ll cost more than the 4m Coady would have so just hope we don’t spread the budget too thin.

I'd like to think 2 of the 3 you mentioned will also leave with Braithwaite and an unknown other coming in.

Keane will stay id imagine with dyche here. But maybe Godfrey and holgate go? With potentially 20mil coming in. That could get a good CB and Left Back. Plus what’s saved on coady.

Would Tarkowski, Keane, Branthwaite and new signing be enough?

If Branthwaite steps up then maybe. If not we are bang in trouble.

It would depend on the new center back. If Keane is fourth choice maybe. Keane is so bad and it’s been proven over and over.

Four wasn’t enough at times this season hence we had to bring Coady in the first place. That said, Mina and Godfrey aren’t the most robust.

I’d say we’d want one more player in addition to that who maybe isn’t specialist but has played a bit of CB in case needed the link to Shea Charles would make sense as he’s a midfielder but apparently has played some games at CB.

Welch is highly thought of but I’d think a loan for him next year.

Despite its probable unpopularity I would sign Vardy on a lowish wage (if he would come) and over a max one to two year contract as an alternative striking option. There may be some injury concerns of course but hes got enough in the legs to be quick enough for the last twenty minutes. He certainly wouldn’t be a starter, but would be an impact sub.
Yeah just what we need another past his best player who certainly isnt going anywhere for low wages. Id rather spend what little money we have on someone who has potential. Weve been there over the years taking old men on to see out their careers and very rarely has it worked. We need youth hunger and ambition not auld men going through the motions.

Villa are currently the favourites for Tielemans. Obviously they can offer more than us right now but it’s probably not the level he thought he’d go to…..but the number of midfielders on the market is crazy. Mount, Kovacic, Maddison, Tielemans, Rice, MacAllister, Caicedo, Ward-Prowse, Neves…..be an interesting summer to see who ends up where, and who else is available as a result.
NONE of these will end up with us so i wont be taking too much notice.

I think it's easier to get a value for money/bargain central defender than it is to get, say, a value for money striker. Having said that I fully expect us to be signing odds and sods for the foreseeable future.

That guy is either a complete dummy or being poorly advised, possibly both.

If he'd have come here he would have started every game if he'd performed. As such he would have a number of clubs after him now.

Instead, he wasted four months at Spurs and is no better off than he was in Jan.
Why do people on here waste so much time talking about Danjuma? Hes hardly prime Ronaldo and still gets mentions on here like he would have walked in and been some kind of hero he didnt sign when he could have so f him move on.
