Summer transfer window 2023

The lack of backing given to the manager this summer is disgraceful

I want protests until we get change. The board room reshuffle was not change at all.
Thats how blind they are to all this, they think us fans were upset about the people who have gone when the 2 biggest culprits of our mess are still here.

Moshiri convincing Kenwright to stay on as chairman is just like WOW!!!

I just hope that protests in some shape or form are being planned.
The way the owner is treating our club is nothing short of disgraceful.

Just read that Lewis Warrington's contract expires in June 2024 and yet they've loaned him to Plymouth for the season. So basically they've let Warrington (a tackling CM who always looks to play a forward pass and would die for the club) leave for nothing as he's out of contract in June 2024. And yet they offered Davies (a CM who doesn't tackle and seldom plays a forward pass) an extension to his contract - so they clearly recognise that we need squad players for CM. At present we only have Gana (33 - but in September he'll be 34 !), Onana (seems he wants out - and no one can blame him), Garner and Doucoure (30 but 31 in January) as CMs. Two injuries or suspensions and we're in trouble having no experienced CM to come into the team. What on earth is Dyche doing in all this? If he told Thelwell we need 2 squad CM players to cover injuries and suspensions then surely Warrington wouldn't have been allowed to go out on loan until we had some players in. And today we read we are linked with a Birmingham City lad who plays CM and is 18 with a handful of games but he doesn't want to join us. I have no doubt at the end of the transfer window in a blind panic we'll give a contract to some useless, half-arsed crock at £70k a week. What a shambles.

There's a chance he signed a 1-year extension before the loan and it just wasn't written about. Technically he will come back from Plymouth with about a month left on his deal if they're going to renegotiate then.

Academy players under 23 cannot leave for free. You either agree a fee or it goes to tribunal

Davies was over 23 so entirely different

Will need to be one of Plymouths best player for the season if Warrington is to get even cotract extension Everton, at 20 will be a miracle if he plays for Everton again.

Even if we bring someone in now doubt Dyche throws them in first game.
That's right. The team we have now is probably the one we will see for the August fixtures. Suspect a couple of signings...bodies, not quality...at the end of the window. If we pick up 4 points in the first 4 games then that would be the best we can expect. (Unless, by some miracle, DCL is available for some of them)
