Totally agree. You know my thoughts on Wharton - I think he's great. It's just that we have very little money and need to acquire 4 attacking players (if Gray goes) and a CB, before we even start thinking about the midfield and I can't see us doing it.

However, this being Everton, I can very much see us being forced to play the players in bold at CM.

Maguire might be decent in Dyche’s system but it’s a non starter on his wages. Just made up nonsense unless they were prepared to subsidize his wages on a loan. I don’t see that happening. Personally would rather see Branthwaite anyway.
