Roh oh.
No wonder we are after him

They're right in it this year.
Definitely. That squad is thin, a lot of good players gone and seemingly not being replaced. And I actually think (even though we complain about a lack of communication at Everton) it's daft just to put that out there, it's pretty much admitting they'll struggle to fend off interest in their remaining good players like Kilman or Nunes which weakens them in negotiations. And if you're one of those players and your chairman's just admitted next year will be nothing but a slog, you'd be looking for a way out.

I see the Wolves chairman has written to their fans to basically say they spent the summer budget in January and they are basically going to go with what they have. Which is better communication than we're used to I suppose, although their fans don't seem thrilled by the message itself.
I think fans and managers need to understand that clubs can't just buy their way out of trouble all the time, given FFP and the general costs within football it just isn't feasibly possible for most owners to keep plowing money in all the time. Clubs have to get back to a way where they are making their own money and operating sensibly within their means.

Yeah it says they’re skint and they’ll go with what they’ve got

Everyone on the outside buzzing they’re communicating but reality is they’re likely in a relegation scrap after spending over 200m last season on garbage

100 percent...

Imagine Neves being sold for that much and then the money not being used….oh wait, sounds familiar. He was so crucial for them, though. It’s going to a battle for them this season as well.
They pre-spent the Neves money on an absolute panic buy of Cunha, they are probably lucky the Saudis bailed them out because they weren't getting that money from Barca.
