Boggles my tiny little mind this lad is all Thelwell can find on the planet for £15m.

For the blues who are saying they want him: If one of our rivals (Sheff Utd/Luton) bought Adams for £15m, would you be saying it’s a good signing?

I very much doubt it is but Thelwell has probably had his token pick now in the form of the young lad and the rest now will have to be 'PL experience' to keep Kenwright and Moshiri happy.

Arguably the only sides with a worse transfer window than us so far but let’s not forget that palace have a massive Zaha void to fill and West Ham have 100 mil of rice money to spend

No it was reported that we had a loan to buy lined up for Guirassy but Kenwright vetoed it in favor of 'PL experience' so we ended up with Maupey because he was available whereas Adams wasn't. Thelwells targets have been ok when you look, Onana, Kudos, this summer we have seen the likes of Boniface, De Ketelaere, EBT, Brobbey and others, these are decent players for a club in our position (regardless of what certain numpties on here think) The links to the likes of Adams and Maupay and Young strike me as being part of our favoritism towards 'PL experience' and that comes from the boardroom 100% imo.

If the recruitment team were pushing Guirassy last summer I'm surprised there's not a peep about him this summer, he's apparently available and wants to come to the PL.
