The likelihood is, Cannon has no future at Everton, just as Simms had no future when he was continually sent out.

Quite possibly but by developing him I mean either getting him on track to be a PL player, or just getting him enough goals and exposure to land in the same 6-8m bracket as Simms. Either way is a win, and a 1m loan fee on the way is a bonus (and one we shouldn’t drag our heels on).
