Summer transfer window 2023

Your talking about repeating exactly the same scenario that got us into this mess last season.

The season doesn't start in September, it starts in 2 days time. We can't afford tk be chucking the first 5/6 games away like we did last season as that what leads to nearly being relegated with 30 minutes of a season to spare

You carry on mate if you want to play fantasy football with team selections. This club and those that run it won't be given an inch of patience or sympathy from me because they've proved time after time after time after time year after year after year after that they're incompetent at doing anything remotely like a professionally run football club.

2 days until Fulham and the squad is a humongous pile of crap, missing any kind of creativity and serious goal threat

Agree, some supporters need to stop getting carried away, we will get Chermitti but probably not in time for the Fulham game. I wouldn`t expect Chermitti to play a massive part in this season.

The only others signed is Danjuma (Who I think will have an impact this season) and Young....

The rest is just stories, typical Kenwright stories released to the media to show `Everton are trying` or we was `unlucky` with x, y and z signings.

Come the transfer window closing I fully expect Chermitti, Danjuma and Young to be all we bring in. I don`t know why supporters get sucked in BKs stunts every single year only to be disappointed, it`s been the same for 30 years and isn`t any different now.

Im saying Thelwell (with limited funds) could either:

A: Land an easy target early on.

B: Hold out until late in the window trying to make a quality signing.

i see you both prefer option A. Welcome Maupay mark 2.

Christ on a bike

Guarantee you've seen nothing more than YouTube clips of Chermiti, Wharton and De Winter too.
Tell you what, lets make a bet then shall we seeing as you "guarantee" something about someone you dont know...

...how about if i prove it to you, you cut off your wanking hand to remove whatever remaining pleasure you have from your miserable existance?

Then post the evidence.

Sounds fair enough?

Going full zat here but bringing in damjuma, hugo, chermy and gnonto would be very exciting wouldn't it.

Would be revolutionary.

Its something that anoys me all the time....players been purchased by big clubs for big money and just not even played in position they prefer.

They will obviously not be as affective, and it just looks amateurish to me.

Are we in a position to be risking this !?!

I also understand having depth....but we are only competing on 1 front....we don't need 3 centre forwards in a 1 striker system, or 3 left wingers!

Just my daily wonderings this lol

Just whats happened with Onana last season.

How can you say plan A (the quick option) would be a Maupay MKll signing when we signed him with 5 games already gone of last season.

What I'd like is a plan that starts the second the season is finished and the window opens and we bring in players ready for pre season.

You keep day dreaming though Zat that he's doing a great job 👏 👍

If West Ham are sniffing round Cole Palmer on loan, can’t we try?! 🤣
Wouldn't even need to move home. A move to Everton would make perfect sense if he's genuinely available on loan. We have a good relationship with City having sold them several of our best players in the past and taken several of their cast-offs.
