Yup, 2 out of 3 top targets is good but who comes in as the alternative to EBT is crucial.Still need a striker that operates similar to dcl and can score goals

Still like to go for him on loan as we still need options
Gray, you’d imagine, would seal his Fulham move once we get the Gnonto deal agreedNeed to get players out too.
Maupay, Gray, Holgate, Gomes, Gbamin, Ali (if fit enough)..
Id agree, but we need a striker more than anything. If we end up getting two wingers and no striker, thats not a good window for us.Obviously still work to be done, but it's been pretty clear this summer the top targets were Danjuma, Gnonto and El-Bilal. With limited resources landing two out of three would be a good return.
Chermiti operates similar to DCL, but he's young and raw so not sure on the goals yetStill need a striker that operates similar to dcl and can score goals
True I'm curious how long it will take him to adapt?Chermiti operates similar to DCL, but he's young and raw so not sure on the goals yet
Providing Pickford doesn't get sold, which he won't, I would class Danjuma, Young, Chermiti and Gnonto a relatively successful window. One more striking open and it will have ended very well. But it may take a long time for players to settle in, players who don't know the club, don't know the way Dyche likes to work, need to settle in a new area and possible new country, etc.
To me, it's criminal to send a squad into the season with ONE winger available (who is on the verge of being sold anyway) and ONE real striker who nobody knows will even be able to last longer than a game or two.
The board and DoF need to get their acts together and stop making the same mistakes. We could very easily take very few points from our opening set of fixtures and it will all be on those in charge of recruitment. What if DCL pulls a hamstring against Fulham?
We essentially forfeited about 10 games last season without a single striker, I hope this will be the last time we go into a season with a threadbare squad.
Also I know the priority is wingers and a clinical striker but we're also faced with the possibility of micheal Keane playing on a regular basis , need a new cb as wellProviding Pickford doesn't get sold, which he won't, I would class Danjuma, Young, Chermiti and Gnonto a relatively successful window. They’re going for free agent De Gea or Kepa from Chelseasaw that courtois got injured today and Real Madrid's manager has worked with Pickford before......
There will be another striker, think it's just a question of who rather than if.Id agree, but we need a striker more than anything. If we end up getting two wingers and no striker, thats not a good window for us.

Wonder if Ekitike is the El-Bilal backup? Cant be Chermiti as he's too raw.
Danjuma, Gnonto, DCL is a good front 3. McNeil too but Iwobi is poor wide and Gray is going so I think we need another versitile attacker

I think gray is set to leave soon so he might be a replacement for him?Maybe Sulemana was a smokescreen after all
Certainly not writing him off but it doesn't sound like they regard him as their "primary" striker acquisition as they would've EBT. Chermiti could certainly have an impact though.Gnonto is 19 and would have likely been a good player for us if hed been here 12months ago.
Chermiti is the same age and so perhaps he has a similar level of quality and impact.
Wouldnt be writing him off.
