Chermiti will be a big signing for us in terms of negotiating now I think for the rest of the window. Instead of being held to ransom we'll be able to act stronger knowing that we can say "we'll just be giving Chermiti the game time instead", compared to when we were clearly desperate playing without a striker. Ekitike and Gnonto in next along with Chermiti and Danjuma legitimately transforms this side. We were fairly comfortably mid table last year in terms of defending and the midfield, our attack was Championship quality though. This could be a massive few weeks not just in terms of our season but the future of the club too, if we can get some stability under Dyche going into the new stadium then it'll be massive.

The aim should of course be survival this season but I think top half or top 12 should be where Dyche should be pushing us to hit, regardless of where we finish survival is success so it's not make or break but it would be nice to see us try to push on a bit.

I`m not sure we get Ekitike, there will be clubs in for him that will be playing European football, Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt are just 2 and don`t forget Newcastle were in for him last season when he went to PSG....

Gnonto I can see happening, I`m also hoping Sulemane, that will be enough to see Gray go.

Even then I think we need another striker and I think we are in desperate need of a Centre Back...

Yeah can’t see Ekitike happening. If the media reports are to be believed we’re obviously trying to get something done very quickly before other teams circle. And that’s even if we’ve actually bid lol
 
Perhaps not the thread for it, but Liverpool appear to have messed up the Caicedo negotiations in a way I would associate with us! Come in late, not even check if the player is actually interested in coming, miss out and have thus revealed to the club they've been low-balling all summer for their CM that they have way more money to spend than they've been letting on.

If they have to go back to Southampton now, it will cost them! Nice to see a club I hate potentially messing things up as badly as we do!

Eni Aluko probably has a theory about why this has actually all been very clever of them.
