U ok Zat, you've been very confrontational recently? Literally yesterday you were asking someone to cut off their shandy hand!

Well, if someone can "guarantee" something about a stranger on the internet, they should have some skin (literally) in the game...no lol

Yeah, I always felt that the £27 million figure was always a wild massive blag. I find Toffeeweb’s figure of 21 million far more believable.

The media is full of BS. The Chermiti fee was originally reported as 15 million Euros, so the British press are now inevitably reporting it as 15 million pound.
Even at the time of the signing it was mooted at just over €20mil / €22mil or whatever the exchange rate was to £18mil.

Think there were some crossed wires.

I suspect the Kenwright stooges in the media take the numbers from him and @Goat has fallen into the abyss here.

We signed a 38 year old. I’m surprised he didn’t burn the ground down.
lol not thrilled with it, preferred the likes of Truffert or Parisi ar LB. But im fine for a season.

You’re right mate .. our scouting network is top notch. Constantly signing up and coming players from across Europe.

Having said that , they should just hire you.

Could have had kesper dolbeg and co … come to think of it , I’m surprised you have time to really…

You’d normally be watching the Myanmar U14’s league aboit now?
Dolberg was good for Ajax and Nice. You get some good ones like Guimaraes, Paqueta, Militao and Gabriel from Brazil and you get the odd one who doesnt hit their potential.

I suggest you catch up with your global news if you think Myanmar is the place to be at the moment...perhaps take more than an hours drive from home.

Take your own advice and be more open minded and travel.

Only thing that concerns me with Ekitike and Gnonto rumours are Dyche’s quotes. He’s clearly wanting more experienced players while the club are chasing younger players. Not a huge concern but hope that both management and recruitment team are working closely.

It's still a long shot but maybe he wants to go to a team where he'll definitely get a game

He’ll be on big money at psg and they can’t make him move so I’d buy into the narrative at his age that he wants to play in the best league in the world with a really good chance of starting every week

I don’t think we’ll sign him but I can see that logic
There was a mention yesterday somewhere that he wants to play as hes not had alot of game time at PSG.

IMO, he has to accept that we don't want the kinds if players he has always signed. It's what has got us in this mess and we need to swap to the model of younger players to put the finances back on course, if nothing else.

Much as it pains me, he should absolutely be consulted regarding what he needs and be presented with options to select from. But those, options need to be along an age profile that suits the club.

Very true. A director of football model only works when the team is being built a certain way so that regardless of whether the manager leaves/changes, there shouldn't be a revamp within the playing squad. Pretty much how Brighton found success with De Zerbi replacing Potter.

Would you rather cash in on Iwobi or release him at the end of the season.

Sell.

De Winter off to Genoa.

£8.6mil which seems to be very cheap.

Bobble said we aren’t in for him, so all the rest seems like clickbait.

Perhaps things have changed since then?

Dyche got his mate Young in...Danjuma is clearly a Thelwell loan...Chermiti is probably someone Thelwell has sold Dyche on for the medium term.

If Dyche has his way then im not confident. Hoping Thelwell is aiming for long term here.

Absolutely 100% this! The DOF role is to future proof the club, so he needs to be thinking beyond the current manager. Dyche should have input as to what type of player he wants, but Thelwell should absolutely be looking in the 19-24 age range for players so that they have sell on value!
