20% profit back to Lille and the fee was £33mil.

In terms of FFP its now £26.4mil left on the books.

It appears now that Lavia is £55mil and Caicedo £111mil. The middle is £83mil sell for that less the 20% profit clause and we have £73mil.

If were looking to see how much net profit we clear based on 'the books' / FFP then it would be £46.6mil.

So currently we have Iwobi on the right and Doucoure in advanced midfield (based on last season).

We have Garner, Onana and Gana in the centre. Meaning we need one addition now to have 4 players for 2 positions.

Sell Onana and we need 2 new central midfielders...and no Godfrey shouldnt be considered or Iwobi / Doucoure.

As I wrote above, Lavia - Caicedo...the middle ground is £83mil.

We sold Lukaku for £75mil + £15mil add ons so £90mil lets say.

That would be my thinking, a club record sale over £90mil.

Agree with this, id prefer to hold onto Onana.

The only way id be tempted at this stage would be at a club record sale £90mil+ with two high quality and high potential players coming in to replace him.

That would have been Scott and Wharton for £40mil combined. Now Scott has moved to Bournemouth already, its going to have to be a similar player.

We would need to sell at £90mil+ which is both a club record fee and also bring in Wharton + 1 to make this worthwhile.

I doubt United have the appetite for that high a deal...rumours all window theyre short on transfer funds to spread around.
Utter Madness. No one has bid for him him, and they would be mad to bid over £5om on what he’s shown so far. An average season, he goes missing for most of the game.
He has no excuses this season, he has to go and grab the games and by the end of it he could be worth near those figures, I highly doubt it tho.

This is the sort of loan we should be aiming for if they become available.
I guess it depends on how squeezed we are on the salary to revenue % front, because whilst a loan may be possible his injury record has been really poor. No point taking up salary or a place in the squad, if not played, when we have brought in Young who is a versatile full back.

Would like to see what Onana can do this season, prefer to keep him than have some money dissappear into the financial black hole and then be left short at the last minute - we have history of doing that of course.
If he moved to a top team he’d be riding the bench most of the season. Think he needs to show himself to be a consistent PL performer to get that big move. But yeah, if someone comes in with a big offer I could see us selling him. Usual story, sell him on deadline day and it’s too late to get a replacement.

Less than Lavia and under 45% of the Caicedo fee.

I'm guessing youve not seen (much) of either or compared their stats with Onana.

See old Fab saying Kieran Tierney is expecting to leave... would take him in a heart beat, but injury record isn't great....

I think that could suit all parties. He gets some decent run in the premier league to recoup some value and we get an upgrade with Tierney but with cover if needed. Said from the beginning of the window we needed an LB. With resources slim I second that a Tierrney loan would be sharp business.
