There is clearly money there for a striker so it's just genuinely ridiculous that we've started the season with Maupay upfront, the coaching staff are very naive if they thought Dom would be starting against Fulham and idiotic letting Maupay start instead.

It is not naivity...but gambling the future of this football club...they got lucky in January and by some miracle we are still in the premier league. They must be thinking the same...problem is that you rarely get lucky twice in a row.

If so, what was the reception?

Just cant even write how angry i am, just seeing that lineup today shows how poor this club is. Just lost for words on how poor this team is finishing easy chances. Then we have the club just taking forever to get deals over the line, we have to get a striker in for next week. Just throwing games away

he had a good cameo today, made an assist for Awoniyi. farking hell even forest have more decent attackers than us

Juat read about dyche saying dcl is not at the end of his rehab. So has been how long trh club have known that he would not be fit for the game today.just have to hope we can see us bring in somebody but well no confident at all

Need a CF in by Monday. Beto or Daka. Training all week and fit and firing for the weekend. We create plenty of chances, enough for even a half decent CF to bag 8-10 a season.

The reality though, and deep down we all know it too well, is that nothing will happen until closer or on deadline day...

The play was fine , very good at times even with Maupet up front .

The finishing is another matter .....exactly the same.

The coaching staff have known all along the plan for Dom, so it’s not naivety.

It’s just that we are shocking at transfers.
