It is not naivity...but gambling the future of this football club...they got lucky in January and by some miracle we are still in the premier league. They must be thinking the same...problem is that you rarely get lucky twice in a row.There is clearly money there for a striker so it's just genuinely ridiculous that we've started the season with Maupay upfront, the coaching staff are very naive if they thought Dom would be starting against Fulham and idiotic letting Maupay start instead.
