According to journalist and transfer insider Rudy Galetti, Everton are "pushing hard" to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Hugo Ekitike before the transfer window closes on the 1st of September.

Galetti took to Twitter to reveal:

Sean Dyche says that Demarai Gray is still short of match fitness after missing Everton's loss to Fulham on the opening day of the 2023-24 Premier League season. Gray was given an extended pre-season break after he helped Jamaica reach the CONCAF Gold Cup semi-finals over the summer.

See, I keep hearing this. However this is the current situation.

Lukaku has been told by Chelsea he is not wanted
He has said he wants to stay in the Premier League
He has messed it up with Inter and now even Juventus don’t want him
He is a proven premier league player.
He was great at us and arguably played his best ever football.
Chelsea would surly let us have him.
I would offer a loan with obligation to buy next year for like 25/30m and make him our highest paid player, just get him in.
If there’s a chance at all then we should be doing whatever we can to get him. Changes our prospects immediately
