A journalist reported on Patreon on Sunday (13 August) that Preston have been trying to re-sign Cannon, 20, for a while and have been given until Wednesday to complete the deal by the Toffees.
Chelsea reportedly have a back up option if the Moises Caicedo deal fails to go through in the summer transfer window. According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are eyeing up Everton ace Amadou Onana as a potential alternative to the Brighton midfielder.
According to journalist and transfer insider Rudy Galetti, Everton are "pushing hard" to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Hugo Ekitike before the transfer window closes on the 1st of September.

Ok I'll rephrase.
Why is he not in their squad? If they're not selecting him because he's not good enough, I don't understand why signing a player who's ineffective in the championship would do a job for us in the Prem?
Beto will keep until after Bill has done his weekly scratch card!

Dunno, but he looks decent to me based on a 5minute vid.
SportsPete0 initially but the bbc seem to be reporting it now. On their article about Harrison that we’re interested in Beto. Although not advanced as per tweet above.
Saw him in a pre-season game last month. Did nothing but was a right unit.
