Even if money is tight I’d rather we didn’t burn both domestic loans on Harrison and Daka. As top clubs finish their business some good loans could become available late on and you at least want the option.

With our complete lack of striking options it boils my **** that Akor Adams has gone to Montpellier for €4m. Only 23, excellent scoring record before and 2 goals from 2 shots on his Montpellier debut.

Of the three “meh” options available (him, Adams, Iheanacho) I’d definitely say Daka, much more potential upside in him in the right team. In reality we are almost certainly looking for a starter not a cover and when names like Ekitike or Beto get dangled any of those three would be underwhelming.
