Summer transfer window 2023

We've apparently made bids at or in excess of €/£25m for El Bilal Toure, Gnonto, and now Beto.

Yet struggle to agree payment terms for Che Adams?

And with Gray likely to be sold.

I'm not expecting anything, but it feels more and more like a wind-up, not that it didn't ever not feel like that.

It's difficult to accept, even with payment on the drip, that we can't or couldn't get a forward in the next week.

There’s a reason all 3 haven’t been snapped up, because they’re average plus Marega (32) and Nzonzi (34) are coming off playing in Saudi while Morelos has been gathering weight since Rangers binned him
there's a reason che adams hasnt been picked up too. if we sign him, its more than likely going to be 15 million down the pan !

Another major failure of this window has been the inability to move on surplus squad players

Holgate, Gbamin, Gomes and others still to be moved on before next Friday

I'm certain this will have been the to-be-sold-or-loaned list going into the transfer window:

Holgate
Gomes
Gbamin
Gray
Dele
One of Keane/Godfrey
Mykolenko
Maupay

Possibly Onana and/or Pickford in there too to generate money for incoming players.

Ginormous failure as usual by the club.
