Apparently that cb Gabriel we were after before he chose Arsenal, could be available along with Smith-Rowe. Not sure how true it is or even if he's any good but we are in need. Would people take him if available?

Would def need to be a loan, so one at best, but neither is likely.

Because hes not an England u21s player, he plays England u19s and his midfield partner is George Hall from Birmingham.

We could do with them both.

He has 18 under 21 caps. Pretty sure he played in MF alongside Wharton in the European Championships this summer with Gardner moving to right back?

I really wanted him last summer, so I’d be delighted if he came this. My only hesitation would be injuries.

Realistically I can’t see it WHU paid big money for him, be mad to see them loan him out and be a big investment for us.
