Any potential Pickford deal shouldn’t involve Henderson. I don’t rate him that highly and we’ll end up over valuing him in the deal. If we have to sell Pickford rinse them for cash and buy a different keeper.

Remember United are the club that screwed us under Silva when we were ready to pay a lot of money for a CB either Smalling or Rojo and they left us in the lurch on the last day and then let both leave for absolute pittance rather than strengthen us even though we’d always dealt with them fairly for Rooney and Lukaku.

We shouldn’t deal with United Spurs or Chelsea unless we absolutely have to.

There was that, but if anything that was more our negotiating naivety. This has happened more than once…when we went deep into the window trying to buy Zouma and Chelsea strung us along as well. We need to be more savvy.

They apparently refused to loan us elanga in January cos of the protests and stuff, instead just sat him on the bench for 6 months.

Exactly, by not even engaging with them unless it’s necessary.

Rojo and Smalling left for hardly anything. Zouma ended up at West Ham who have been more of a threat that end of the table than we have been. Elanga’s career took a 6 month hiatus, so has Danjumas. All just to try and shaft an already incompetent Everton outfit.

Unless they’re the only buyers of star player we have that we need a big fee for like Richarlison then i wouldn’t ever do business with those teams again.

Yep, we are a bottom feeder as far as competence goes, and we are easy to pick off by our former peer clubs who appear to be the club profile of choice for the players we seem to target. All very odd, why we have felt it was a good strategy. It’s completely obvious its not worked for us.

I do agree with a lor of that sentiment (I would take Henderson on loan as part of the deal), Our issue is, if we don't sell to United, Spurs or Chelsea, it's difficult to sell to Liverpool, we are greatly reducing our options to sell to.
