I looked it up scored in 3 draws and one defeat. On transfer market website can't cut and paste the link on my phone.
Really amazing how important 3 goals I've a season can be. I agree he's not very good, but can we afford to sell with out replacing? Especially how transfer fees have a habit of disappearing, with us.

Obviously we have to sell, but just pointing out even someone as inconsistent as Gray is important to us.
Cant just say any player who scored is worth a 100m to us

redic and unrealistic thing to say

Id like to think we bought a 100m forward he would score more than 4

Yerry Mina matched half his goal record in 7 games; without Yerry we’d be down
I agree without that equaliser, we would. Simms goal against Chelsea the same. McNeill was our most important signing in terms of goals, look how much stick he got. Every goal we scored was vital last season.

All I'm pointing out, is we need to replace him.

I mean in terms without those 3 points we'd have got related. Not in anyway saying he's worth £100 million. But those 3 goals might have been.

If we got £10-£15 million for him it would be amazing.

It really was and we played with fire in terms of our player trading in terms of options in goals and creativity and not bringing in replacements around this, the impact was our results flatlined and our goal difference was -24. Scoring a total in the league of 34 - ridiculous.

Taking Richarlsion, Gordon, Rondon out of the team in 6 months, really limited us of options to the point - that realistically what any player can contribute is precious to us. Gray for all intensive purposes was our starting forward for the majority of the league - certainly under Dyche.

Overall the point has to be, whatever we sell or loose the eye has to be on the next step and what any potential deail out enable us to bring in and IMPROVE.

That has to be qualifying criteria in any deal selling Gray

We're that poor at scoring, creating and attacking.

In the land of the blind, a man with one eye is king.

And a man with three is a God.

Can we ask Al Hilal if they have any mates who want to buy a football club?

Being able to get an inflated fee from them for Gray would be massive.

You just know that if (a big IF ) we acquire some decent players in this window, they will spin it as, we couldn't have done it without Bill's expertise, and that is why we need his skills as Chairman. All hail the king of transfers !! He makes me sick 🤮

They'll do the same thing if we sign crap players as well.

We'll start the season with about 14 senior players at this rate.
I`m not adverse to ripping this team apart completely and giving a manager a team that will be his for the first time since David Moyes..... I just worry we won`t replace the ones who have gone whilst strengthening the areas we need most.

Everton did have a bloated squad, as some including Brands eluded to previously 23 is the sweet spot, 1 for every position plus an additional GK.

Evertons 1st team squad is about 31 players till 30th June when contracts and loans finish and Kean finally joins Juventus, as it stands the squad is size 24 going in to next season excluding the likes of Cannon, Warrington and Mills. We still have plenty to get rid of, I hope we just bring in some quality.
