We can't spend big though until we get our wage bill down, it's 90% of our turnover at the moment and it needs to be 60-70% and that's with new signings included.

Id like to see a wage break down at the club for the whole club, i know the players would be the majority, but the squad is not exactly big or as big as it was as the bill remains stubbornly high as a % of turnover - we have one of the best paid boards in the league and seems we are appointing someone or other every other week and still signing lads from Burnley - if you know what i mean, it needs a root and branch review in terms of efficiency.

I suspect some of it will be the huge media arm we seem to have which protects Kenwright and co which consists of seemingly around 100 people. I also think some of the players are on way more money than what people think. If someone like Mykolenko is apparently on nearly £60k per week then god knows what some of the rest of them are on (I dread to think tbh) I think there will be cutbacks both on and off field and they are needed as we have to start managing our finances better.

We have 500 employees - is that reasonable would you think mate?

Spend 100-150 mill (depending on sales) on 4 or 5 good young players. Give them lesser wages to start with with increases down the line.

Mina, Coady and some others will free up wages.

I would sign Joselu from RCD Espanyol. He is a great forward and probably this season Espanyol can be relegated so he will be a bargain.
