No you don't get it it's because he's not a winger and he physically cannot adapt to playing there.

Despite playing and "making his name" as a winger for about 8 years with below par productivity, which is why everyone was shocked as to how we played ourselves to give as much money as we did for him.

I mean Jordan Ayew has spent his entire decade long career playing as a forward and I think he's been miscast and should have been a ball winning midfielder so really Iwobi could play until he's 117 on the wing and I'd say he's being used wrong.

We're like 6 more months of Onana being asked to get into the box before I start on that one.

Press saying Palace want Gray. This would be my concern- I fully expect him to turn down a move to Saudi Arabia and insist on another English team, meaning we'll lose out on about £10m.

I doubt that he ison huge wages by Premiership standards and the Saudi move would give him the opportunity to earn as much probably as some of the players at the big clubs plus he was already prepared to leave England and play in Germany

Jordan Ayew has in fact not been used as a forward as much until the last few years - jack of all trades and master of none and used everywhere in midfield.

Iwobi started off as a winger, played as a winger for Arsenal and everyone else, we bought him because we needed a winger, played him as a winger, he was crap as a winger and he's apparently a savant attacking central mid, despite also being crap there because he's one of the least focused football players I've seen play for us who has a mistake in him about as much as Michael Keane, so you can't really play him in a position like that.

Like honestly we've been through this about 5000 times, everyone's told you the same, we've had about 5 managers try him in the middle where his "preferred position" is and he only had success for the least successful manager ever when we played nothing football and won no games. Revelations, that. Maybe there's a reason he didn't play there at all in 100+ games for Arsenal, but who knows, you obviously knew and saw better than Wenger, Ancelotti, Emery (IIRC) etc.

Shockingly poor form by davek also to not have him above Patterson in the pecking order for right back to be honest.

Hes the least creative creative player I've ever seen. I remember Chelsea away last year, Doucoure was 10 yards ahead of iwobi, Chelseas cbs had split and Doucoure ran into the space, literally all iwobi had to do was pass the ball straight forward 10 yards and Doucoure was in on goal and he stopped waited and passed it to the wing ffs.

I said the other day when we were challenging for Europe he wasn't good enough for our team and now hes consistently in our starting 11 were battling relegation.

If he was any good he would of either been good when we were challenging for Europe or stand out while we battle relegation, the lads done neither. He was crap at arsenal and hes been crap here. Hes the exact type of play we need to bin off at this club and stop bringing in, too exspensive and offers nothing and the reason we cant get rid of him is because we did the "everton special" aka give a crap play ridiculous wages so even if some mental team did want him the player isn't going to take a pay cut. No other team in world football is dumb enough to pay what we've gave him.
