Summer transfer window 2023

It's difficult to predict Leicester's starting 11 as can't believe likes of Barnes and Iheanacho will still be there post close of window. That said they've achieved plenty in last decade so many players might just see it as a blip and they can get straight back to prem and then challenge for top half pretty quickly. Bit like when West Ham went down a decade ago and they were still signing likes of Kevin Nolan when he was still decent.

Think Leicester and Southampton will be comfortably top 6, Leeds nowhere near if they're just relying on the squad that went down and also taking ages to appoint a new manager.

Reckon Iheanacho will stay and he’ll probably do well down there.

Good signing. For spurs that Maddison

now that funding has been secured for stadium hope Moshiri can concentrate on strengthening the squad
and getting rid of players that are not wanted so Sean Dyche can start rebuilding this squad

Onana,Garner, Patterson and McNeill all played regularly last season, none of them are ancient.
Onana and Garner are 2 of our 4 total midfielders, no alternatives.

Patterson was used as a last resort - before him Dyche played all of his "experienced" players as right back, like Holgate and Godfrey for example.

McNeil I'll give you, but we also have no other left winger anyway AND he's a player Dyche "knows" so 50/50. He's held his place down as well, fair play to him, after starting very poorly.

Fully expect Branthwaite to not play for ages until Keane costs us a few goals/points btw.

Why would moshiri spend money on the squad when it is very likely that in the not to distant future he will become a minority shareholder meaning minimum return on his investment when the club is eventually sold.

Just thinking out loud here. But for those saying we won’t do any business until later in the window, can the club/board really afford to drag it out again? The longer we go without any signings, the more anxious the fans get about the situation = more unrest and ire directed at the board. I just feel that the next few weeks would be a great time to get a signing through the door and calm everyone’s nerves a bit. But this is Everton after all.
