Word is Gyokeres has agreed to a five year deal with Sporting & is presently sorting out personal terms.

Disappointing if true.

No doubt that’s why we bid for him. We know he is talking to Sporting so we will put a crap bid in which will keep the fans happyish.

Not big news but this Photo was taken today at Home Park, Plymouth supporters on Twitter reckon it could be Lewis Gibson signing for them. We’d be due a small fee as we offered a contract.

Genuine question, is Gyokeres really any better than Iheanacho? I think Iheanacho would scores loads in the Championship.

I know I rant sometimes about just shopping in the relagation window, but if we could get him for around 10m it would be good business and probably safer than spending close to 20 on Gyokeres.

Not news really is it. We’re in a ffp hole and we’re building a stadium. We’re skint. But we tend to operate better that way historically as it forces us to be much more careful. Dyche is the right man for this kind of situation

Sporting are offering Coventry a package for Gyökeres which includes a 35% future sell-on clause

Oh, and Gyökeres has switched his agent. I'm not sure if that's news or not to people.

There are free agents and loans though so this really isn’t a good enough excuse. If this is the line that the club are feeding out then it’s a disgrace.

I have no idea of the standard of some of the frees, but if you want Loans, you're usually waiting till 31st August sadly.

Just listened to the Bobble's podcast. Christ I feel depressed now.

Not remotely close to signing anyone, not in discussions for anyone. Demari Gray doesn't want to go to Saudi because he has a kid in the Midlands. He keeps saying the window is a 'bloodbath' and teams without money are really struggling to get players.

Sounds like it is going to be a disaster for us tbh.

Not questioning The Bobble he does have some insides. Think we are talking to agents / clubs but can't commit due to no players sold. Let's hope we get a few out of the door soon
