Not really sure tbh, scored plenty in the championship, looks like he'd suit Dyche, but God knows if he's good enough. If we're skint though it's the sort of punt we need to take.

More adaptable than Gyokeres in that he can play anywhere across the front line or even in behind, quite tall, good on the ball, knows where the back of the net is. He isn't mad quick but he isn't slow either.

Yeah, if Rodrigo is about 3m then Rodrigo, Piroe and Danjuma for Gray and Simms would probably be about net zero and would vastly improve our options as both Rodrigo and Danjuma can play other positions.

They aren't ideal world signings but I don't think we could do much better in terms of increasing number and range of options with no spend.

Indeed so the excuse there is no money is not that we can hide behind. Although you never know about the terms they want: maybe Rodrigo wants a 3 year deal on 100+ a week. The wait continues ........

Most striking thing is if watching a montage of just his goals, it’s impossible to determine his favoured foot. Maybe he doesn’t know.

Has “good Championship striker” written all over him, and not necessarily in a bad way. Strangely immune to the will he/won’t he make the step up discussions. Worry might be no-one has ever bothered to have those discussions about him.

Leaving aside the "doesn't interest me" part of this, are we really sticking in bids for 30+ year olds valued at 15-20m by their club while our budget is made up of pennies we can get for the academy kids?

Apparently Piroe has turned us down.

Also, the annual players, staff and wives summer celebration has been cancelled by the club due to lack of funds.

So it’s no Piroe, no party

Am a bit tired of reading post after post saying we're skint, it's sell to buy, Moshiri isn't spending etc.

Truth is none of us knows how much budget the club has. We can all speculate but please stop making the definitive statements, as none of us know.

They could also decide to throw some money at Onana. They had him earmarked as the Rice replacement last summer until Frank gave him one of his famous phone calls... Maybe money we could use elsewhere due to us knowing they've just received a hefty fee.

Its the one thing with Kev ive noticed he can sort these deals, hes got fees for Broadhead, Quirk, Anderson and Nkounkou - not sure we would have done those deals permanently for fees in the past, see Pennighton Matthew.

Gibson & Warrington may be another two.
