Bobble's mate before saying that all of the money we have received on transfers (mainly Gordon) has gone straight toward the stadium, so we desperately need Simms money. The truth is that we dont know what we have to spend.
We couldn't spend last summer and ended up spending £57M.
Exactly it and why the shouts about Thelwell are unfair. Guy is turning a profit in the market but rather than get a chance to invest it he's getting it taken straight off him to fund the stadium. 65 million in sales since we last bought a player and he seemingly still has to sell Simms and Gray to bring in anyone at all. The club is being bled dry.Scrambling round for a few million for Simms to ‘help our cashflow’ meanwhile other clubs are waxing money all over the place.
A premier league club in name only - Moshiri and co have a lot to answer for, wouldn’t trust them to run a raffle.
In which case Moshiri should have dropped the asking price and be looking to move on. Football clubs require money to operate and if the owner and those in charge can't supply those resources then they need to pass it on to someone who can. We had all this crap for years under Kenwright and I don't expect to see it under Moshiri.Bobble's mate before saying that all of the money we have received on transfers (mainly Gordon) has gone straight toward the stadium, so we desperately need Simms money.
Like people on here have said, they might be fed their info from the club but they are definitely bracing us to not spend. My guess (and it is interpretation of what we are being fed) from what they've said is that I would be surprised if we spend over £20m without a huge sale.
He hasn't signed a contract with us so not sure how we'd loan him?Potentially a loan deal.
If that’s the case we should just be looking at the maximum number of quality loan additions and a few prospect signingsBobble's mate before saying that all of the money we have received on transfers (mainly Gordon) has gone straight toward the stadium, so we desperately need Simms money.

The fact we brought in Begovic as back up and shipped him out on loan two seasons running maybe? On what basis is Virginia not good enough? Heaton ain't very good either. Don't waste a wage when we have no money to spend.
Did you mean that to sound like we have an owner more like the Glazers than one who's spent (wasted) £500m on players and is building us a new stadium?Exactly it and why the shouts about Thelwell are unfair. Can sell young ones, but can’t find a semi decent striker, that isn’t the work of someone who ‘does bits’, that’s pure incompetenceDoes bits does our Kev.
He's out of contract PhilPotentially a loan deal.
No, the money isn't going into Moshiri's pocket, he's not asset stripping, but what I'm saying is the failure to fund the stadium either from his own pocket (as he said he could) or find external financing for it quickly enough means that we are now selling off what few playing assets we have to fund it, and as a result the playing squad is being bled dry. Hopefully MSP can help resolve it all but 130m won't even touch the sides of what we need to fund the stadium let alone have a functioning playing squad.Did you mean that to sound like we have an owner more like the Glazers than one who's spent (wasted) £500m on players and is building us a new stadium?
Hope you're right mate. I'm just commenting on what's being fed to us. It is clear that we aren't going to be spending much at all.Don't believe that's the case for a second.
So if the horse punches didn't go insane and buy Gordon for silly money then what? Just stop building the stadium?
Also we tried to spend £25m on the beto kid in January.
Personally think we're just waiting the PL financial year to end so it looks better on the books. I dont think we'll spend crazy money but think it'll be similar to last seasons spending. Unless we sell someone for crazy money.
It would be very embarrassing but it wouldn't surprise me
