Player Valuation: £950k
We just aren’t in the position to be choosy on players that come in this summer . Absolutely shocking . We aren’t an attractive option for players that’s for sure .

Hope you're right mate. I'm just commenting on what's being fed to us. It is clear that we aren't going to be spending much at all.
Don't forget, Spurs spent nothing for years whilst building the stadium, no reason to think we won't be the same. Difference is, they had a good enough side to ride it out and we were bang in trouble already due to years of poor recruitment and mismanagement.
But as football is such a loss inducing business - particularly in player acquisitions - it doesn't mean that the plan is to use player sales to pay for the stadium but it does mean that money that would go towards player recruitment goes toward stadium development, therefore sales funds are what is generally used to be reinvested into the side.I get what your saying but player sales won't be a factor in that because you can't account for them, so they wouldn't be part of the projected financial plan to pay off the stadium.
Spurs stadium was built from 2016-19 during that time spurs spent.
15/16: €71m
16/17: €83m
17/18: €121m
18/19: €0m
19/20: €150m
20/21: €110m
The only season spurs didn't spend was the 18/19 season but they also didn't make any money from player sales that season.
Exactly this, I also think we'd find it easier to negotiate if clubs think we've got nothing. It may lead us to missing out on high value targets but I think it would do us well in players under £15m, which I suspect is the market we're looking at. I think now heading into July we'll see more links popping up.Don't believe that's the case for a second.
So if the horse punches didn't go insane and buy Gordon for silly money then what? Just stop building the stadium?
Also we tried to spend £25m on the beto kid in January.
Personally think we're just waiting the PL financial year to end so it looks better on the books. I dont think we'll spend crazy money but think it'll be similar to last seasons spending. Unless we sell someone for crazy money.
We’ll probably still get out bid:-
He is dog rubbish. Very weak, absolutely no pace, and make a terrible decisions. A proper Everton signingWe have been linked fairly consistently with Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Arsenal. I think we were linked years ago before we signed Paterson at RB because AMN can play there or DM. I think now that he's on a free you can see this making sense, with the age of Coleman and the fact Tom Davies has left
Everton could kill two birds with one stone by signing £6.8m Arsenal reject
Everton could solve two problems at once by signing free agent Ainsley Maitland-Niles who is set to leave Arsenal next month.princerupertstower.com
This is the crux of it I fear. I think there is reasonable FFP headroom to spend some cash. I genuinely don't understand how we could have no money to spend in terms of being allowed due to FFP or whatever, Moshiri not wanting to pump more money in by choice or not having it because of Usmanov is another matter but I fully believe that we're "allowed" to spend a relatively normal amount if we had it.
I think this is the case and I'm optimistic that it'll change when MSP is officially done. The problem is that may not happen until August and we cannot go into another where we effectively sacrifice the first 4 or 5 games waiting for transfers, if they come at all. It will be better late than never of course but if that is the case we need to be spending the absolute maximum available to us on a large number of players for this squad. This is the crux of it I fear. He's off m8, you can forget about the Swedish Ronaldo nowIf Simms goes we should then bid for Gykores. If Coventry are looking for 20 mill then a big down payment and rest over couple of years.
Football is money sickAbout the same situation as us then, just less Debt..
Yes, I think our best hope for this window is that the football side has effectively "loaned" the 40m Gordon money to the stadium side but that they will get at least some of it back when the MSP money arrives, but that could leave us with another late scramble. Even that is optimistic, and if we're back to sell to buy despite the Gordon and Kean sales we are running out of assets to fund what's needed for the squad.I think this is the case and I'm optimistic that it'll change when MSP is officially done. Honestly I think this scenario, which is likely, isn't even sell to buy for us. I think United are probably going through the same thing but at a higher scale of course. Even if we had no issues it would make little sense for Moshiri, or the Glazers, to pump money into a club that won't be theirs for much longer. Moshiri might be selling us for £400m or whatever it is, that's with or without improvements to the squad, why would he effectively throw away anything from £10m to £50m that he won't get back in a sale in the next few months, makes no sense for him.Yes, I think our best hope for this window is that the football side has effectively "loaned" the 40m Gordon money to the stadium side but that they will get at least some of it back when the MSP money arrives, but that could leave us with another late scramble.
