On

Apparently on 100k a week. Leeds won't be paying that in the Championship, if we can get him on loan I think that would be best for all parties. Big wages off Leeds' books for his last year, a decent option for us for a year without having to pay a transfer fee and potentially give a 30+ year old a contract, player gets another year of PL and then will get to pick a club barrier free at the end of the loan.
Difference between showing an interest and getting job done

Like when denise flashed her boobs

Still looking for one hit for the photos still

Club is laughing stock

Bobble's mate before saying that all of the money we have received on transfers (mainly Gordon) has gone straight toward the stadium, so we desperately need Simms money.

Like people on here have said, they might be fed their info from the club but they are definitely bracing us to not spend. My guess (and it is interpretation of what we are being fed) from what they've said is that I would be surprised if we spend over £20m in total without a huge sale.
So this we can’t spend because of ffp or P&S is rubbish and being used as an excuse. With the Gordon money going on the stadium. Isn’t the stadium money separate from the club’s accounts?

Not one for me to answer mate. But I think it's telling that we keep hearing the phrase 'cashflow' these days.

I think it's safe to say that the P&S/FFP situation helped the club in curtailing spending - ready made excuse to not really spend on the squad.

£20M + cash from sales would be enough for Dyche to operate in the type of market's he's used to.

Which is signing terrible players, scaping the barrel of ability. Little sell-on value. Little to build from. Long-term disaster brewing if Dyche's usual standards permeate an already diabolical recruitment policy.

Thankfully we have a strong minded Director of Football with a proven track record to ensure this doesn’t happen.

Wait

But he was young then and has since got some first team football. No point wasting the wage now. Heaton is crap too. Save the money.

Yeah, Virginia is still only 23 now which is baby age range for a keeper so no different to Pickford having quite a few loans when he was 19-22 at Sunderland.

Going to Reading and Sporting clube is good experience even if he didn't play much, not sure how he did in his 17 games in the Netherlands but as long as Pickford is fit he'll get the league cup rounds and see how he does.

Think the club just want the cash also rumours club looking at maitland niles on a free aswell

Maitland Niles was terrible at Southampton last year, was obviously watching them from Feb a fair bit to see how the relegation rivals were getting on and for an experience player in a very young squad I thought his attitude was dismal.

He seems to be living off having some decent games for Arsenal in about 2018, done very little at Southampton or West Brom in recent times so can't just be signing players because they can cover some positions as he'd be little better at RB than Holgate or Godfrey imo.

Don't believe that's the case for a second.

So if the horse punches didn't go insane and buy Gordon for silly money then what? Just stop building the stadium?

Also we tried to spend £25m on the beto kid in January.

Personally think we're just waiting the PL financial year to end so it looks better on the books. I dont think we'll spend crazy money but think it'll be similar to last seasons spending. Unless we sell someone for crazy money.
I think its a mix of both and you are right on them waiting for the next PL financial year. For them no sense in pushing expenses to the 22/23 books, it gives them a cleaner year of profit that will help for the next couple of years and look better on the books for a potential investor.

I think they also are being much tighter and are now basically requiring a profit to spend any money, but I do think its highly likely they are just waiting for July 1st to start spending the Gordon and Kean money. At the same time I think they have a clean year on the books for 22/23 showing profit and they will immediately sell that to MSP and other potential investors.

There is a young right back at St pats in Ireland who looks like he will be very very good..Sam Curtis. Only 17. He will be in England soon enough. Definitely worth a punt. But it will be probably be Brighton or someone get him.
I’m a Rovers fan and Irish toffee but I’ve constantly said time and time again there are players in the LOI who potentially have got what it takes . Ok it would be a risk but defo some worth looking at

Agree 100% would be a squad option who can play in both rb/cm and not really a stand out in both positions.
