We've had a fair bit of joy signing players from that league in the past. I'd say they were decent numbers on a free. I haven't seen him play myself, neither have you, but I'd say a cheaper and more long-term free punt than your Ashley Young's.

I am fearing another January transfer window fiasco

I keep thinking surely they can’t repeat mistakes from last summer. Then again this is the board that sold a player for 40m in Jan and didn’t reinvest a penny. That money has now seemingly been swallowed up and people seem resigned to a sell to buy summer despite bringing in around 80m alone since Jan.
