That could be our new....striker.. Cheers Bill..Expertise...know how...local.. slimline..very experienced. 🤮

Where are these Gashley Young shouts coming from? Surely a wind up?
The legitimate itk poster, Tofeenut released a cryptic message with the words "young and beautiful" then people literally interpreted the young part as we're signing Ashley young because of our flawed transfer history, I don't think there's anything in it unless some new collaborating evidence emerged recently unbeknownst to me, but it's created hours of exhausting speculative discourse already due the lack of concrete transfer news....

Do you know just how stinky your recruitment is when your best two fullbacks have a combined age of 87

45. The entire best backline is 96.

If it's 20m euros upfront we are out if it's spread over a few years we can probably do it. Was just reading that Benj we only put down an initial ten million on Onana and Mcneil last summer. Maybe this story is to hurry us up?

McNeil was around £2mil down i think. Similar for Maupay.

We seem to have brought in:

Price £400k
Nkounkou £1.7mil
Stones clause £2.5mil
Simms £3.5mil

= £8.1mil

That should be enough for a downpayment on a centre forward.

If McNeil and Onana only had downpayments that would suggest that the next instalment would likely be due this summer which would eat into that money if cashflow is genuinely a problem as opposed to FFP/P&S

Any world class left backs going for free and with low wages? Could really, really do with not watching Myko for another season, such a weak part of the team.
Ashley Young it seems

Yes we can afford 20m euros in installments I hope we do it

Anyone else getting a really bad feeling about this transfer window ?

Don’t want to sound negative but I am not seeing any links to anyone we need I.e the striker department.

I am fearing another January transfer window fiasco
Agree totally mate.
We are being starved of information by the club about a whole host of issues , as they don't want anyone to have enough info to start asking awkward questions .
We have been lied to / misled (depending upon your viewpoint) , repeatedly in the past , by Kenwright et al , including as recently as the promise to bring in striker(s) in the last transfer window.
I fear that we will leave everything too late as always , and then try and quell the unrest by making a few unrealistic offers for players who would never come here.
We , the fans , will then be responded to with the usual shrug of the shoulders , and the platitudes that at least we tried.
