Yes take the scraps Atlanta don't want....If Atalanta are signing him I presume Zapata becomes available, wasn't he linked in the January window?
I like it

Agree with this. How many makeshift full backs did we play last season? Off the top of my head Godfrey, Holgate, Iwobi, McNeil, Garner all played full/wing back at some point. That’s farcical at a PL level club, and you can bet Dyche has pointed that out.Young is very old, but he has still been playing at a standard above us as recently as last year. Played a good number of games in his 2 seasons back at villa. Good utility man as he can cover both full back positions. It's a very unexciting signing, but it might end up being a useful pragmatic one.
I think if we had sorted out the forward areas and maybe signed our "marquee" signing already I think the reaction would be calmer. That's if it's happening at all of course
Lol, how did Dyche look like a fifty year old man when he was still playing?
Pension FC at this rate. We'll sign Rodrigo, I reckon. Which is only a palatable deal if we sign younger talent in other positions. We are creating more financial nightmares ahead if we don't invest in younger talent.
A real test of Chairman Bill's negotiating skills and the pull of Sean Dyche by the sounds of itThis is a section of the translated L'Equipe article:
'They could be looking for a forward to provide them with cover in case Rasmus Højlund leaves.
It’s claimed the Mali international is getting closer to the Serie A side, who are currently a step ahead of other clubs, ‘especially Everton’. The report adds Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are ready to offer as much as €20m to acquire the player’s signature.
Despite this, the Merseyside club aren’t giving up their pursuit of Touré. L’Equipe explain that Everton ‘still hope to convince’ the attacker to move to Goodison Park in this window.'
A real test of Chairman Bill's negotiating skills and the pull of Sean Dyche by the sounds of it. Let's hope they can do it.
I remember people saying the same about Paul Power in 1986/87. All he needed upon arrival was to be told which peg was his in the changing room. Slotted in beautifully with no fuss.Agree with this. Signings like Young are boring ones that can become vital ones.
Agent Doucs will be our secret weapon.A real test of Chairman Bill's negotiating skills and the pull of Sean Dyche by the sounds of it
I've have every confidence then

Hardly missed a match in a championship winning season. Played left back and left wing. Covering for Psycho and Sheedy.I remember people saying the same about Paul Power in 1986/87. I’ve always assumed Sean Dyche came out the womb at 40 years old. With 2 kids, a mortgage, slightly high blood pressure and a job as Burnley manager.Lol, how did Dyche look like a fifty year old man when he was still playing?
