He’s definitely not coming here anyway, but his goals and assists would definitely help us he’s not a crab, he’s inside the top 50 players for average match rating only McNeil, Tarkowski above him. He’s in top 50 for pass % completion non of our players are above him for that, probably wouldn’t start in any top 6 sides but he’s well above anything we have now and miss someone with that creativity and chipping in with goals which has been our biggest problem for 2 seasons now. We’re a million miles away to be turning our noses up at a player like ward prowse if there ever was a chance of signing him financially we’re probably a million miles away from signing him.

his goals and assists are mostly from set pieces though, what if we dont get 3/4 pens a season, or free kicks in dangerous positions all the time.
he's not awful, but i genuinely dont think he improves us that much, wouldnt pay a penny over 15m for him and not worth the wages he wants.

if we don't get pens he doesnt pad his stats, if he doesnt get several free kicks in dangerous positions he doesnt have the chance to score from them.
i'd rather have a player who is more dangerous/creative in open play, than someone who relies on dead balls.
