Everton are set for a cash boost after
Niels Nkounkou finalised a transfer from Saint-Etienne to Eintracht Frankfurt on deadline day. According to French radio station
RMC, Saint-Etienne are set to receive a fee of €10.5m from the left-back’s departure. Everton had a 30 per cent sell-on in the deal and are now due a significant pay out from the defender’s move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Everton have entered negotiations regarding a deal to sign West Ham United's
Maxwel Cornet, but a reliable journalist has revealed that a deal taking place is likely to depend on one particular condition.

Mike McGrath confirmed that
Everton have opened talks with West Ham over a temporary move for Cornet, with his club already in negotiations to secure his replacement to allow him to move to Goodison Park. He wrote:
