Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Some interesting OOC players this summer. Not sure if any of the below have agreed deals with current clubs or elsewhere, but it would be good to see us in with a shout even if they'd never consider coming here:

CB - Eric Dier, Lindelof
RB - Tariq Lamptey, KWP
LB - Reguilon
CM - Jorginho, Angel Gomes, Koke, KdB
CF - Lacazette, Calum Wilson, J David, Sane

Do I think KdB or Sane would ever consider coming to Everton, no, but I'd like us to aspire to that calibre of player. Though I do think the likes of Wilson and Dier would improve us short term as long as they stay fit.

If Keane goes I wouldn’t mind Lindelof as a replacement 3rd or fourth choice CB on a free. People will complain but he’d be an upgrade on what Keane is offering (who wouldn’t be) and would fix a position without us shelling out if funds are still constrained. He might want to stay in the region and the prem as well.

Lamptey or KWP would be better than Coleman or Young. Again they’re not glam names but strengthen the squad for no upfront outlay.

I think we should put whatever budget we have towards stars. Put it all on two or three attacking players or a star midfielder. That means we might have to be creative with frees and loans elsewhere to plus squad holes.

It was widely reported that Everton couldn’t afford him also so really your just speculating like everyone else
It was widely reputed that we couldn’t afford him, not widely reported. It was widely reported he wanted to take his career to another country. The fact that we couldn’t afford him is immaterial, it was a non starter. I could say “you’re” being revisionist.

You seem a very angry person Ferguson? Is it because you keep saying “your”, when it’s in fact “you’re”? It was reported widely that he wanted to go abroad, if that’s what you mean? I’m sure “you’re” conflating the two things, due to the fact you must hear “go away” many times in your life

to be honest mate I read your snarky comment to a poster before about “ this thing called time “ thought you was a bit of a dickered then read your laughable wannabe ITK post and couldn’t resist

Couldn’t resist what? All you’ve done is spout nonsensical drivel. If your objective was to “outdickered” a “dickered” then congratulations! You succeeded. I sense this may be one of your few successes

Lindelof is on £120k per week as it is, hes 30 y/o and i’d expect he’ll be after £20m for 2 years (min) which equates to £198k / week.
There would be uproar if he didn’t play / was injured.
I’d rather they went with a youngster and let Moyes coach him, much as I’m not his biggest fan, his record developing C/H is very good.
