I feel for Alcaraz a bit, often getting stuck out on the right and he's never a winger. Don't think Moyes fancies him particularly, perhaps why the weirdly short contract length.

I highly rate Alcaraz. But must be played centrally.

We do need to add more goals. I can't see them spending on another striker, but maybe see what happens on loan.

The loan market is going to remain pivotal for us to add depth. I guess Grealish is the obvious candidate but we do need to add more guile and goals.

If Darwin leaves the Reds for Saudi it could make Mitrovic available for loan - who I think could do a job for us.

I cant see any of Beto, Chermiti and (on a small amount of evidence I grant you) Barry knocking in 12-14 in a season.

We need a CF in as a matter of urgency.

I'd have liked Delap to join us, but barring that don't see a concrete link to a player who has gone elsewhere where I've though "that's a big miss"

McAtee and Luiz haven't joined other clubs, so we've not missed out.

Not sure about the Luiz push on here. He's on over £150k a week, will want that again and has done nothing at all whilst at Juve. Was good in his final season at Villa, but number inflated by penalties. I'm sure that KDH will provide the same returns for less money and with some potential resale value if he does well.

I think his contract length might be so that we can ammortise the cost over just the two accounting windows, last year's as we bought him before July and this one probably as we had some extra psr head room from selling the women's team, he probably signs a new longer contact later this season assuming he does well.

Really happy with Dewsbury Hall. A few year ago at Leicester I thought he looked like a very good player, his stock has dropped a bit from Chelsea but I think he'll do really well for us and is immediately a significant upgrade on what we have there.
