Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Do I need to go to athletics tracks to watch the 100m or is it ok for me to see some of the competitiors easily beaten for speed, online...

...you know? To comment on their pace.
You are not actually even doing that. You are not looking at the entire race, you can barely say you watched any of the race.

But yeah, apparently everyone else is wrong and you are right because you watched some clips on Youtube.

…I still think it’s going to be really difficult, I’d imagine Moyes and his team will be making full use of loans etc.

You could argue we are going to need anything from 6 to 12 players based on contracts expiring and anyone we try to keep on.

You're right - that level of recruitment would be borderline impossible to do I would guess even if we have more to spend than we thought, so you'd have to imagine that there will be a few we try to retain for another year (sub keepers and Gana Gueye being your most obvious candidates) and use of the loan and free agent market would be required alongside whatever we spend.

Just out of curiosity I would like to know which Youtube video shows Fellows is slow. I must have watched about four of them by now but they all show him either dribbling past opponents, crossing, giving killer passes or scoring.

He had a clear run at the Leeds goal a bit like Temple in the Final but the central defender caught
up and prevented the shot. The commentator said he was unsurprised.
That's the sum total of my knowledge on the subject. So maybe he's not slow but he's not quick.

The makergularly-up of EFC today demands a pacy winger; we have tricky, slower types already.
I asked @Littlesue yesterday about Fellows' lack of pace, as a Baggies fan she has much more opportunity to judge after watching him play regularly. She says he is quickish. So I would imagine similar to Lindstrom.

Watching youtube highlights.

He's not once showed any pace and looks to be a one trick pony with a fantastic cross...thats about it.

Ndiaye + McNeil on the left so we'll need 2 for the right? Why 3?

Right footed based on his videos but lashed a couple in with his left and uses it to dribble with too.

I cant believe premier league left backs would allow him to keep doing the exact same trick & cross.
I think 3 because in the modern game you need serious numbers from your wide forwards. We ain't going ro be signing an Isak. I feel like we need to right sided players and a younger one to bring through.

Need to be looking to move McNeil on in a couple of seasons and future proof a super rich side coming for Ndiaye.

Also, could do with a wide player that could play behind the striker or even up top.

So, in summary. I think we need 2 who are good enough to start and a young <20 to develop.

Cannot have the level of drop off that we have with Harrison.

I dont need to watch an entire race to see who is quick.

Not sure what you mean by your final comment? Most dont seem to want him as he looks like a non-rapid one trick pony.

Id love to see one where hes fast?

Or where he looks like the next England international right winger?
