Agree with this 100% - hopefully with Moyes back in charge we’re again looking at potential Championship players or those from relegated clubs (having said that I’m not sure there’s anyone from Ipswich/Leicester/Soton I’d want)

People seem to have turned their nose up at this in recent times and I’m not sure why – most of the time it’s a much better recruitment strategy getting someone in that is young and hungry with something to prove rather than the “bigger clubs” outcasts who just see us as a step down

I think you are probably about right, they could "afford" to spend double that, but I think they both want to really make a jump with the club, but be smart about just immediately filling the wage bill with older more expensive players.

I'm a massive advocate of it. Low risk too usually. Gustavo Hamer also looks like he'd do well in a better team in the Prem compared to the Sheff Utd one he was in. Zian Flemming at Burnley has summat about him too, scored some absolute worldies this season.

Theres more talent from the potentially relevated clubs this year than for a while. I'm looking at James Justin and Kyle Walker Peters to start with. Harwood Bellis is someone that would be worth a look. Delay will goto a top 6 team I suspect. Omari Hurchinson looks a handful, not so much a Moyes type player though.

James Justin is terrible and Harwood-Bellis doesn't look much chop either.

The bew owners have clearly stated that one of their main things to do is to sort the first team out. If you think that we are only spending £10m then I domt think you have been paying attention

They didn't say they'd do it this year though.i agree well likely spend more than £10mil, but wouldn't expect silly season. Plus a complete overhaul of first team squad and move to BMD would be quite unsettling. I think a few might sign year extensions to ease the transition burden.

With the amount of players leaving, I think we will see money being spent. Plus, doesnt our PSR stance change from June 1st? Haven't we already triggered Alcaraz's contract? I genuinely can't see us not spending this summer
