Was linked by a Dutch newspaper in January and the English papers all ran with the story mate, shortly after he gave a interview stating he was not keen on changing clubs mid season, pretty much mirrored what Martinez said about January transfers

One year left on his contract come the summer, both player and manager in January mentioned preferring moves done in the summer rather than panic buys, Twente having financial problems and we need a left winger/creative type and the player himself coming out today saying he would consider this a good time to move to a bigger league of England/Spain or Germany but ruling out Italy

The pieces are all their and well won't lie that he is my preferred choice and hope that the January rumours had substance in them

I hope the rumors about Milner are true. He's always been a good player, can play pretty much anywhere in midfield and could even provide cover for Coleman. If we could get him at £8-10m i reckon he'd be a key player for us by Xmas. I'm really hoping we can get Barry signed up as well, but wages for both would probably be the issue.
