I would like Nathan Redmond from Norwich, thought he played well against us. I also liked the look of that Bolassie lad for Palace, and I know the screaming skull would never sell him to us, but I have been impressed with Fabio Borini every time I have seen him play for Sunderland? I would be made up with Milner to be honest and also happy enough to have a go at Albrighton. I doubt we will see any 'stars' coming in and seem to remember Bobby saying if it was Europa, he would be looking a quantity.

Snoodgrass is where it's at mate! On a free I believe, still can't believe we signed Mcgeady!

Just been reading Sunerland's forum on Jack Colback. It's ranged from some calling him their best midfielder this year to some calling him cack, with the majority calling him a decent squad player.

I'm not sure I can trust any of them though, because they all seem to rate Cattermole.

The truth is simple about both:

Collback isn't as good as some make out and isn't as bad as others. He is a steady player for me rarely does things wrong. IMO he would be nothing more than a squad player for a team with top 6 ambitions.

Catts is another one. On his day he can be outstanding (as he was yesterday), but he is prone to be carded and can also drop clangers from time to time.

Personally I would keep them both at us but they certainly wouldn't be first on the team sheet each week (however, in the last five games they haven't put a foot wrong)

Defiantly keen to add players like jovetic but city would be astronomically stupid to loan us a player of that ilk

City are in a tricky situation though as the way it looks like going they will have to trim 6 of the foreign players from the euro squad, more if they bring in any foreign lids like the two from porto, so could be looking at 7-8 who had CL positions this year not having them next which could lead to a few players being stuck on loan rather than stay their pissed off when they don't get a spot in their European team for a season

In short, wait and see what happens as they could be a source to some quality loans this season

For all those wondering who Tadic is and why me, @DutchToffee and @bluestevon would all blow our collective loads if we signed him, heres some highlights of his season. I know YouTube made Billy look like the Siberian Ronaldo a few years ago, but he really is a quality player. If we (or anyone else) can get him for anything less than 10mil. it would be a steal!

Cannot see City loaning us Jovetic, especially If we do keep Lukaku. As much as he is 4th choice there, they have an embarrassment of attacking quality but don't want to strengthen a side that could cause them problems. I think we will get someone on loan from them though. We seem to be building bridges with them after Hughes's antics.

Strikes me whenever i've seen you lot as a bit of all-rounder, not good enough to carry players but as people around him play better his game raises a level

and i think the general consensus is he's quality mate, just a few doubters who'd be convinced the moment they saw him in blue

In a way mate we could get lucky again, never for the life of me thought we'd get both Barry and Lukaku on loan this year either, just depends on finding the right players who are unhappy being sat down the depth chart, pelligrini seems the sort who would loan or sell players who wanted more game time he couldn't accommodate like
