summer transfers

They'll look at this year and say they beat us home and away and if Jovetic starts to moan, it would be better to give him gametime with us and get him suited to english football :)
Apparently with Martinez, we're the team to get quality players game time and how to play good attack minded team football :)
True, but City are the only team to beat us home and away and both a bit fortunate. Our young stars have had a season to bed In so I doubt they will take us too lightly if the chance to take him arrises. Him and Lukaku would be nice though. I think City will sell him though to sort FFP. He is a luxury to them and would fetch a tidy fee.

Add Barry, Traore and Gerry on loan to that and we could genuinely have a crack at the league with that.

Thing is mate we aren't that far off from making a serious challenge, Barkley and Stones, Lukaku and Dele (if all here) will improve a lot after the amount of games they had this year, Traore, Kone, Gibson and Oviedo all fit give us a lot more depth and the ability to keep Barry, Baines and Lukaku fresh, add Tadic to the mix with Kev and having Del and McGeady, Naismith and Peanuts fighting to get game time and it could be a special season

Now just think if we get those transfers in you mentioned on perms, we'd only be using the Traore and Del loan spots from this year, so if we could get another Barry and Lukaku quality loan in on top of the permanent squad, we could do some damage this season

I really want Tadic, and it sounds like the majority of Evertonians do as well. But Hatem Ben Arfa is a very similar players in terms of position, playing style, and quality. I have a strong feeling he could be available for a cheaper price than Tadic, so would be a great alternative to look at.

For me, Tadic is a much better, more complete player. More of a playmaker type rather than Ben Arfa who is very much a beat a man winger - e.g. Del, McGeady. Tadic is a player who is just able to find a yard of space in the attacking third and more than likely create a chance from it.

think their similar in level of skill each has mate and the quality they can produce, just for me Tadic beat him in every other facet, harder working, better team player, much more consistent, not a bell end and t6he right type of attitude, plus not prone to injury like Ben Arfa, don't think he has missed much game time at all since being in Holland

Just one of them strikes me as the type who would see us as a massive club to join and be proud the other would feel he should be somewhere better and pout a lot

I'd be gutted if we ended up with Ben Arfa!

He would surprise you. 70% of his current plight at Newcastle is due to Alan Pardew. There is a quality, quality player in there and Roberto would bring it out of him.

He seems to have fallen out with people wherever he's been, and I really don't think he fits in with the type of person, let alone player that Martinez wants at our football club.
