I still sit here in hope that one day Shaqiri becomes available for loan.

I would bloody love this.

He's ace. I'll be honest I've only seen him play maybe 4 times but he's always left a good impression.

He's like a fat little Swiss Gazza. And that's really all I need from a footballer.

It's never going to happen though is it?

Everton's chances of getting Michy Bathsuayi have taken a hammering. Standard Liege striker wins court case to free himself from agent.

It was his former agent, Christophe Henrotay, who was talking to Everton about signing him. Also represents Lukaku and Mirallas

Why? Suppose you can't stand Pienaar's undershirt either.

Because it's bullsh*t. I couldn't care less if he was christian, jewish, muslim or a follower of ding dong bat - the great weed slayer, he can keep his religious prayer antics in the mosque, not on the football pitch. At least when pienaar lifts his jersey, lads are still leapin on him havin the craic after scoring a goal. When Ba gets down and starts praying away to Allah, he's always surrounded uncomfortably by his team mates until someone eventually has the courage to get in there and give him an awkward "well done" pat on the back. It's pathetic. When players score i wanna see them lose their f**king mind!

Hopefuls :-
Lescott - left footed, free transfer, knows the club and more importantly Jagielka. Great scoring record for us as well from CB no less.
Diame - £3.5mill buyout clause, knows our brown moccasined mastermind, athletic, run all day closer downer.
Barry - Great season for us on loan, free transfer.
Lukaku - big player, big talent, bigger transfer fee. And we cant tempt him with CL football. Difficult.
Bony - very little chance with this lad, scored some fine goals in a fairly poor Swansea side in disarray. Great header of the ball - awesome target man for wide players. Difficult.

No idea on Traore or Deloufeu. Would be disinclined to shed a tear if Robles went the same way as Ian Turner/Richy Wright tbh. Wouldn't be heartbroken to let Alcaraz further his craft elsewhere either. Not sure Hibbert will make a full recovery now. End of an era right there. Is Pienaar permanently crocked now?

I cannot remember an end of season/up coming summer where the squad has been so well rounded and where every position is covered to the extent where potential upgrades being considered are marginal (in most cases) where it seems we dont have our backs to the wall to sell anyone, and that the squad as is, is happy, settled and some are off to the WC.

In all honesty, how much business will be done before compared to after the WC? Who will be the self proclaimed 'top 3 player in the world' Diouf this time round. Tune in September deadline for these and a lot more answers.

On the other hand, we could also be able to land him really cheap. A former Genk player won a court case last week against them. He left Genk after a falling out with their coach and went to play for another team without any form of compensation payed to Genk by his new team. Genk off course protested and after years of proscecuting the court ruled in his favour. He only has to pay a one year salary. This ruling will will be used as a precedent by futute players Belgian clubs are afraid.
