Powell for 10mil or less would be an absolute steal. Only 20 playing in midfield for wigan but 13goals. Beasting it at championship level.

not seen too much of him but reports are he's a decent player,not sure how much business would go on between us and United after the saga of last summer .Moyes will probably want to recoup some of his millions !
 
Where's this Powell rumour coming from? Haven't seen nothing. THink this kid has a future at Old Trafford
 
Any chance of dzeko form city if we get CL I know wages and that but I think hes a lad who needs to be the main striker some where to get the best out of him I mean if he is happy to go to inter like then why not.
 
Would be happy with getting;

Ins:
Lukaku
Ings / Bamford
Jamaal Lacelles/ Liam moore
Tom ince / Adam Lallana (would like to get them both!)
Sergi Roberto / Saul Niguez (Athletico Madrid)
Gareth Barry / Similarly experienced player.
Maybe another one or two experienced player if we got Europe / champions league.
Kasper S. (Believe he is already in the process of touted to a few clubs already)
Few younger players for the 21's.
Then maybe a Roberto surprise!

Pienaar (People will say wtf, but i think he's been poor and he isn't getting any better. His head is back in SA)
Leon Osman (Please)
Distin (At the end of next season his place to be taken by stones and stones place on the bench to be taken by Lacelles or Moore.)
Traore (Loan finishing)
Deulofeu (Loan finishing if we can't renew)
Barry (Loan finishing / if someone else signs him)

Duffy perhaps (Think he may leave because he needs first team football tbf)
Would be pretty happy with that.

If we can get a something around 5m for Pienaar we should sell him. He's one of our highest earners and seems finished. We're doing just fine without him.

No way would we get anywhere near that figure for piennar , we only got 3 million 1st time round and that was when he was in his prime
 
Watched the German footy show on ITV 4 on saturday and they mentioned we were after Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim; seen glimpses of him on this show and seems a bit nifty; mentioned in a couple of papers this morning as well.

And also Bacca, this lad is ace. Would love him to be our number one target. Remember him playing at Brugge, he went to Sevilla in the summer but apparantley his buy-out clause his only £9m

He seems finished? Based on what?

We wouldnt get much for him anyway, certainly not enough to justify releasing our best passer.

I read an article this morning on the train, cant remember where from, and it recommended that with £27million that we seemingly have we should look to purchase/acquire the following 6 players:

Lescott
Barry
Rodwell
Lukaku
Bony


Together with promotion of Browing, McAleny and Garbutt, plus remember we will have Gibson, Oviedo and Kone returning do we think we have enough to mount another challenge to the 6 big spenders? Just thinking that they will definitely all look to strengthen, especially Man Utd.

You never know too, the loan at Blackpool may be the kick up the arse Vellios needs. Surprised Gueye didn't get another loan.

I honestly think those 6 players are just too obvious.

We'll end up with players who we've not even thought of yet.

Lukaku and maybe Deulofeu aside.

My opinion on it anyway.

I wouldn't want Lescott or Rodwell back, and if we were to buy Lukaku I wouldn't want Bony, they are just to similar.

Barry I would take, plus another older head. Look round Europe for a top pro who is deemed surplus to requirements. Allowing for McCarthy/Gibson/Barry/Another to compete for 2 places and allow rotation

We need a creative No.10 without a doubt; and another Striker, but the opposite to Lukaku, someone who is more mobile and allows for a quick ball over the top rather than a hold-up player; just to allow us to change our game a bit more. If Bacca is available for £9m he'd be my man

Yep, would be great to have the two of them but we dont play with 2 strikers, its work for the rs and City, is 2 strikers coming back into the game?

We can only have one, depending if Lukaku wants to join us
