Reasons to be cheerful:

  • Benitez will always sacrifice everything for the CL. I wouldn't rule out another league selection brainstorm before and during the tie with Chelsea
  • United have breathing space now with the international week to recharge
  • United have vastly greater experience than Liverpool over the crunch Easter period
  • United have their nightmare period over and done with
Repeat until contented sleep. (y)

Liverpool at one stage this season, opened a gap over United and blew it with several bad results, now United have blew their seven point gap and may start to panic because Liverpool are peaking hitting 13 goals in three games. Villa are in freefall but to beat a team 5-0 with the best away record in the PL should not be scoffed at. United need to get a grip and quickly or the Premier League trophy will be heading to Anfield. It hurts me saying that but it may just happen.

Dont feel embarrassed for me. I cant abide them and ending up 5th rather than 6th wont mean a thing if they end up winning the league.

If you mean Everton just beating Arsenal and Liverpool beating United to win the league, forget it.

Whats the big problem?
The majority of blues want to :-

a. finish above villa

b. watch the Shi*e crash and burn (again)

When the two aforementioned teams are playing each other only one team can win O.K - and due to our slip up yesterday - catching villa is still our top priority - Fu*k the red Sh*te they still have 8 games to blow it! (which I still think they will).(y)

Our immediate goal is to go into the game against Villa with the psychological edge i.e with them in striking distance......
So villa getting a good tonking today is by far the best result for everton!!!! (y)(y)(y)
