We signed quite a few championship players/players with CH experience.

Steele, Browning, McGeady, McManaman, Grabban, Vaughan, Camp, J Williams . Probably afew more too.

Problem was that we bought absolute [terrible]/injury prone players & the existing squad wasn't good enough

Dunno mate, the only way we could surpass it would be if Bill Kenwright eventually found the Arteta money. It's probably got shedloads of interest now and we could use it to pay for our share of BMD.
