Essentially he owes Short a huge sum of money over 18 months.

This weird insistence on telling everyone how rich he is in every interview should set them worries off, however the vast majority of Sunderland fans seem to be the very worst type of ostrich

The story I heard when it broke was basically Short had written the debts off which seemed rather strange,then this Donald fella was supposed to be bringing a partner in,Sartori I think the name was,he is rumoured to have a lot of cash and prepared to back the club,as for the fans I cant blame them for the head in the sand attitude after the last couple of seasons,imagine sinking like that and still having O'Shea and Cattermole as your shining lights

I like them,always come across as down to earth and the complete opposite of they're neighbours up the road,maybe one of the MLF that come on here could give a bit of insight as to the general feelings up there @Sunderland afc
