Sunderland afc

If you work out wtf this is, let me know.

Sheesh. Every Sunderland fan I ever met was ok and I wish them well but if they going to be taking a leak whilst sitting in the stadium ( maybe a protest?) then serious questions need to be asked. Serious yet potentially hilarious questions.

Let alone is it wrong it's actually vile I mean does he knows there's a toilet for this?

This aged well lol lol :coffee:

I did say "hopefully" which perfectly demonstrated my optimism, but as usual, Sunderland - let me down.

So, as usual, you've selected a small part of my post to try and score points. I see you're active on this thread after going AWOL (from this thread) last week, I wonder if that's a coincidence because we won? I'm not sure.

I can't defend that shocking performance, we collapsed completely to a very mediocre Reading team. We were well beaten, I still stand by my comment that we won't go down. I genuinely thought we'd win - I had reason to after our positive result last week.

We're in big trouble as you know (and enjoy for some reason) we knew that a long time ago. Saturday's result is highlighted our main problem - Defence. That must be rectified in January. We can't leak 2/3 goals every match and expect a result. Unfortunately, due to our shocking home record, playing at home is a hinderence to the players now. Atmosphere is horrendous and it's obviously effecting tge playees. Confidence is low, the players are hiding and the morale is dangerously low. Coleman has a monumental task to save us from this huge hole.

It was a terrible result mate, not much more I can say about that, I've got nothing to throw back at you - Nothing.

Your tiresome vendetta against sunderland is so boring, give it a rest ffs. You've wanked that one dry months ago

Well said mate ;)

I wouldn't even mind if it was just banter, unfortunately it goes way beyond that and he starts ranting on about how he hates us for "head patting", along with other strange remarks. He's very small-minded for generalising Sunderland fans as "rats" (his word). Of course, like any club there's idiots in our ranks. I won't put him on ignore, as I think that's a bit childish and the lad has done nothing to me. I'm hoping, with Everton getting that great win yesterday, along with Christmas coming up, he'll let all his deep hatred go...Maybe? lol

He's always sniping about how Sunderland fans shouldn't be on an Everton forum, and how this thread shouldn't be on etc, completely oblivious to the contradiction that he is the most active poster on this very thread!

So to summarise :

- Sunderland very bad
- liquidation a good idea
- no more head patting

Fair?

For you, that's quite reasonable mate.

Obviously, I don't agree with that second point about liquidation being a good idea. You're an intelligent lad (genuinely not patronising you saying that) so you don't really believe that I'm sure. Which, not only would potentially leave hundreds of hard-working men/women without a job to supply for there families, (when unemployment is already a huge problem here) but would literally devastate a huge proportion of supporters, with the consequences that would follow from the liquadation process.

It's all hypothetical as it won't happen.

But, can't argue with your first point, we are "very bad" indeed at the moment. Well, more than a moment!

I haven't intentionally head patted you or Everton, but I apologise if that's how it looked/appeared from your point of view.

Do you honestly think you will stay up @Safc-mark-91 ,I said last week it was a victory against a very poor side,Burton are punch way above their weight, only caught the highlights from yesterday and it was dire,if you manage to survive it will be by the skin of your teeth

I'm not sure they have any chance now.

I was a bit worried when they beat Burton that they would get some form and people would suddenly think Coleman could save them. Now already it will be a feeling of 'same old, same old'. That is why, for us, it was vital Allardyce started with a clean sheet win rather than Chelsea away in the league cup.

League One is the next stop, but not the nadir I don't think.

Its an awful squad they have orly and theres no family silver to sell now, most of that squad you wouldnt be able to give away,if they drop this season it could well lead to major problems for the club

I do mate. The way I see it, despite how poor we've been, we're only 2 points (1 win) away from getting out of the relegation zone and catching Bolton in 21st place. I'm not denying we're in a world of trouble, but, I've seen enough to know there are at least 3 worse teams who will end up with less points than us - Bolton, Burton, Birmingham will go down I think. (All the B's).

By now, we could easily have been 6/7 points adrift, but other teams around us haven't picked up too many points around us, we must take full advantage of that.

I think Coleman will know, we desperately need to sort out our defensive frailties. Attacking wise, we've got decent options, with Watmore, McGeady etc. We've got goals in our team, it's just our shocking inability to keep it tight at the back that inevitably costs us.

Having said all of that though, I'm worried, very worried. Saturday, we looked like a relegated team, playing with no confidence, leaking goals, mistakes etc. Obviously, had we kept 11 men on the pitch, could have been a different result (Although we were very poor with 11 men to be fair).

We've got Wolves next week - then Fulham, so it doesn't get much easier. We've just got to be patient and allow Coleman time to turn this around. The only saving grace is that we literally can't play any worse - Only way is up I hope.

Burton and Brum do look poor,Bolton are on a bit of a run though arent they?
After almost half a season theres 2 wins and no home win yet, playing Catts and Gibson in midfield is asking for trouble as neither have an ounce of pace about them,I seen the highlights of the Reading match and couldnt believe McManaman not just heading that cross in,once you fell behind you could see heads dropping, nobody seems to want to take responsibility ot try to gee the team up
I cant see much funds being made available and I honestly cannot see who could be sold for a decent amount to raise cash, like I said if you nanage to stay up its going to be a very close call

You're lucky in that there seems to be 4 teams involved so one can still survive. All 4 are in awful form from what I can tell. Then Hull or one of the others from 17th down may get dragged in to it too. Grabban's goals may be the difference and hopefully they will be and I would like both Sunderland and Bolton to stay up.

Your home form could be the thing that sends you down though. We have relegation away form with 1 win in 2017, but our home form has been up there with the best meaning we'll more likely finish mid table. Your away form isn't great either so the home form is even more damaging.
