In the top league playing against the top sides?

It is this mentality that has got them where they are currently.

Yep.

There was a post a while ago from one resident Sland fan who said the time they beat Newcastle to relegate them was a fair price to pay to see his own club relegated.

Dont get that.

I've gone from thinking its weird for Sunderland fans to post on here, to wanting them to stay on for next season.
Would love to read the fume about the lack of parking at Accrington Stanley etc..

Parking at Bristol Rovers is proper tragic.

Newcastle, Sunderland, Leeds for me.

Not wasting a wish on Liverpool as it would be the season relagation was cancelled.

Can't wait to see what job chris Coleman gets next.
And they can go on my list too.
Oh don't get me wrong mate the first relegation is something I would wish on most any other club. Two consecutive drops would be devastating.

This was exactly what I was driving at. It's not Sunderland per se that I've been raging against - it was the :dance: fan brigade that STILL won't protest or make any real stand against the way their club is run. They see some intrinsic merit in "laughing at the Mags" while they plummet, it makes no sense.

They just do not have the leaders among them that our fanbase does. I think only Bill has avoided a full mobilisation against him and even then, his grand scheme to move us to Kirkby was crushed by a fan-funded representation at the inquiry. You get the impression Sunderland fans could be sold a ground share at St James's Park and would still try and be 'everyone's second team'
