Telling you Ratty @Safc-mark-91 - the escape is ON, have been saying it for a few weeks now. Results have been in your favour constantly and HUGE win last time out.

Win today, Birmingham won't win away, gap down to two points. Easy.

Funny you mention "ratty".

Ironically, we've got a rat problem! I've had to put some poison in the shed as there's a rat getting in (at night I'm assuming) and creating chaos. Chewing it's way through boxes of plant seeds creating a mess, damaged the exterior of the shed among other stuff too. Caught a glimpse of it last week for a split second. Squeezed it's way through a tiny hole in the wood, tried to fill it up but it just finds another entrance. Bought some traps etc but doesn't seem to be taking the bait. So, phoned the professionals and they're coming out to take a look on Wednesday. No idea how much this will cost me - Anyone got any idea? I'm not overly keen on murdering any animal, but we've got young family members who play in the back so can't take any chances, with them carrying disease etc.

Anyway, back to Football...Yep, you're right but even if results go perfectly for us today and we win and they lose (huge If of course), Birmingham have Burton at home next and we're away at Leeds! So, will be straight back to 5 points. Birmingham playing better under Monk so you'd fancy them to beat Burton (Who are as good as down).

Still, I'm probably over analysing things. Nothing we can do about other teams, just got to win our game and hope for the best.

If you see a rat, you wont have only one to sort out.

No point leaving poison out in random places, you need to find either the entrance(s) to their burrow, (or their rat runs) leave poison there, put a tile or slate over the entrance, and check the poison has been taken a day or so later. (They take it down to feed the family).

Good luck later btw.

Have you thought about buying them a SoL season ticket? Less are on site every week....

Only joking mein frandel. Good point about Birmingham though, and Monk is a 'momentum' type manager. 11 points would be insurmountable.

Telling you though, staying up.

Thanks for that mate. Yep, I feared that may be the case. It's not even like we live in 'dirty' area I'm a bit OCD with keeping everything very tidy. I've made extra effort to make sure the bins are emptied and to make sure there's no food around etc... I've had a good scout around the place and can't find any sort of burrow - It's odd.

I've even stopped feeding the birds, I was thinking maybe the seeds are falling on the grass and that's the rats source of food? Maybe that's what they're after? No idea!

The one I saw, one was a huge monster! It's remarkable how a fat rat like that was able to manoevre it's body in such a way it can fit it a tiny, tiny space.

Anyway, just about to get in ground, running bit late, will check at HT. Have a great Bank Holiday Monday everyone.

1-0 - Sunderland my prediction.
