Surely they won't finish actual bottom of the Championship. I refuse to believe it.
They are going for it though,Burton at home,Fulham away,Wolves home, I could see them getting nil points, next season should see them level out to around mid table,I like them but its been a spectacular fall for them and I cant see any quick fix round the corner,£130m or so debt losing £2m a week who is going to buy a 3rd tier club with those problems?

Its not impossible to bounce back - Wolves are good example. Their ride wasn't smooth though. But first step for them was clearing out the bad tits from the squad on big money. They put their faith in youth and hired a no-nonsense manager well versed in league 1 and the championship.

I think getting relegated is definitely worse for home fans, those crappy atmospheres with an even lower level of footy, soccer am away fans every week, at least with away fans you get to go to some new grounds, cheaper, easier to get tickets, I almost welcome it
And the Brucie bonus for McGeady is he will have found his level in Division 1 and will no longer have to justify himself.

For me, I don't understand why they're still putting away fans in the top deck?

Next season when they're mustering 20,000 (which is still massive, but still!), why wouldn't you have away fans there, stick them in a corner, and help create some atmosphere.

The place is toxic, and they really need to give the home fans something to rally with. Now if you're telling me 50 Accrington Stanley fans isn't going to do that, what is? But seriously, baffled at that one!

Who do you think you are?

Getting closed for next season. If they want to be really nice they could close the entire ground and put me out of my misery

Still having the away fans in the Upper, aren't they? So more empty seats.

Hate seeing the state Sunderland are in for what it's worth.

Hope you do the unthinkable and stay up!

Keep on hearing about how there's good sides in this league but quality wise I just don't see it. Even last season watching the mags they were never great just had game changers in Gayle and Ritchie to win them games. If we can add another 3 or 4 shrewd signings there's no reason why we can't challenge for the play offs

Definitely.

Poor auld Sunderland. Like I said roughly this time last year, I have sympathy for the fans as they have seen their club mismanaged in a monumental way and suffered the consequences of it.

Dropping 2 divisions in 2 seasons with their financial plight is not a good thing at all. Some of those players though need a right good boot up the backside.
