If they finnish like Rangers few years ago, form which league would they have to start?
If they go into administration they start off in the same division as they have just been relegated to but with a minus points difference,Rangers was a different set of problems which led to liquidation rather than administration,Sunderlands main debt it internal, owed to Ellis Short so its not really in his interests to let them go bust

That's better to hear. It's stupid when club bankrupts. I hope that Moshiri doesn't become Everton's Short. How much he borrow to the club already? 100-120 million?

I have to say Im not 100% sure,I did read he had paid off outstanding debts and not charging interest, like most clubs I think losing Premier status would hit most clubs

Id wait and see where Sunderland end up before making a judgement, the Makems debts are crippling
Just listened to a football podcast and according to them Sunderland have the third highest debt of any club in Europe. They owe more money that PSG apparently. What the hell have they spent it on? It can't all be wages.

God knows but when you have Rodwell getting £70,000 a week and sitting at home, plus a lot of the players they bought they are still paying for after they left, plus players out on loan but still paying a large % of the wages it soon adds up,imagine us dropping a league and having our wage bill, players that you cant move on because nobody will cough up the wages they demand
