South Shields probably offered him decent terms with an agreement that they wouldn't stand in the way of a move as there are probably a few sides looking. Some money going in there as I think this season may have been their third successive promotion had it not been for the Covid outbreak. Probably in a much healthier financial position than a lot of league clubs and creeping towards a full time squad.
