Looks good as a concept, but currently dubious about the view you'd get from the back row of the top stand.

Construction wise, it's a hark back to the tiered theatres in the West End.

That looks great. One problem with these new stadiums is they're so big the atmosphere tends to get a bit lost, this would address that to an extent at least.
 

Something worth noting is that this design requires less space per stand than traditional cantilever stands.

That means that we could fit a bigger stadium in a smaller space... Which could be good news for the dock site, where space might be tight.

Equally, it could be that this approach was considered for a Goodison redevelopment, if we are indeed one of the two Premier League clubs mentioned in the article. All the noises lately would suggest that if we were considering that for Goodison, we don't seem to be anymore.

the water all floating on rubber dingys trying to watch it ffs
Those dingys would make good target practice though, all fans should be issued with an air rifle on entering the ground.
